Articles on: How to Add URL Parameters

Why does my ROAS look lower in Juicy?

Why Is My ROAS in Juicy Different from Meta?

If your ROAS in Juicy does not match the numbers you see in Meta Ads Manager, it is usually due to how attribution works.

1. We Only Attribute Orders with URL Parameters

Juicy attributes purchases to Meta only when we can detect our URL parameters on the ad link.

If the URL parameters are not added to your ads, we cannot identify the traffic source correctly. In those cases, the orders will not be attributed to Meta inside Juicy.

This does not affect your ads or their delivery — it only affects how the orders is attributed in our reporting.

2. Why Meta May Show Higher ROAS

Meta uses its own attribution modeling (including view-through and platform-based tracking). Juicy relies on direct tracking via URL parameters and uses first-click attribution.

Juicy only report conversions that can be directly verified through tracked parameters.

If parameters are missing, Meta may still report conversions, but Juicy will not attribute them unless the tracking data is present.

3. Use Blended ROAS for Overall Performance

If you prefer not to modify your existing ads, you can use our Blended ROAS metric.

Blended ROAS is calculated as:

Total Revenue ÷ Total Ad Spend

This metric:

  • Does not rely on URL parameters
  • Does not depend on attribution tracking
  • Shows your overall store profitability from paid traffic

Blended ROAS gives you a true top-level performance view based on actual revenue and total advertising costs.

Summary

  • Missing URL parameters = we cannot attribute the order
  • This affects reporting only, not ad performance
  • Use Blended ROAS for a complete business overview
