# How to Add URL-parameters to Snapchat ads

||| Changing the URL parameters of an active ad may cause it to re-enter the learning phase and potentially affect its performance. To avoid this, we recommend adding the URL parameters to new ads instead of editing existing ones.

### Step 1: Go to Ads Manager

1. Log in to **Snapchat Ads Manager**
2. Navigate to the **Creative Library**

### Step 2: Edit the Ad Creative

Click **Edit** on the creative you want to update.

---

### Step 3: Add the URL Parameters

1. Scroll down to the **Destination** section
2. Under **Website URL**, click **+ Build a URL Parameter**
3. Add the following **two custom parameters** exactly as shown:

```
juicy_source = snapchat
juicy_aid = {{ad.id}}
```

**⚠️ Make sure the parameters are added exactly as shown above.**

---

### Step 4: Save and Publish

1. Click **Continue**
2. Click **Save** or **Publish** to apply the changes

### Important

* These URL parameters must be added to **all Snapchat ads** you want Juicy to track.
* Without these parameters, **Juicy cannot correctly attribute purchases to individual Snapchat ads**.
