# How to Add URL Parameters to AppLovin Ads

# How to Add URL Parameters to AppLovin Ads

This guide explains how to set up **URL parameters in AppLovin Ads Manager** so that **Juicy can correctly attribute purchases to the right creative set**.

AppLovin does not share the URL parameters of your ads with us, so Juicy can't check them for you. Please add them to every campaign yourself.

## Step 1: Copy the URL parameters
These are the URL parameters Juicy needs:
```
juicy_source=applovin&juicy_cid={CAMPAIGN_ID}&juicy_agid={CREATIVE_SET_ID}
```
AppLovin replaces the values in curly brackets with the IDs of the campaign and creative set that was clicked.

## Step 2: Add them to the destination URL
In AppLovin Ads Manager, open your campaign and find its **destination URL** (the landing page your ad links to). Add the URL parameters to the end of it:

* If the URL has no `?` yet, add a `?` and then the parameters:
```
https://your-shop.com/products/example?juicy_source=applovin&juicy_cid={CAMPAIGN_ID}&juicy_agid={CREATIVE_SET_ID}
```
* If the URL already contains a `?`, add a `&` instead:
```
https://your-shop.com/products/example?color=red&juicy_source=applovin&juicy_cid={CAMPAIGN_ID}&juicy_agid={CREATIVE_SET_ID}
```

## Step 3: Check your creative sets
A creative set can use the campaign's URL or its own URL. In the **Creative Sets** tab, open each creative set and look at its destination URL setting:

* **Use Campaign URL:** nothing to do, it uses the URL from Step 2.
* **Use Another URL:** add the URL parameters to that URL as well.

## Step 4: Save
Save your changes. That's it! Juicy will now be able to attribute your AppLovin orders to the right campaigns and creative sets. 🚀

**Important:**
Make sure to add the URL parameters to all of your campaigns and creative sets that link to your shop.

| 💡 **Good to know:** AppLovin does not support an ad ID in website URLs, so Juicy shows your AppLovin results per campaign and creative set, not per ad. Keep the `aleid` and `alart` parameters that AppLovin adds to every click. If your landing page redirects, make sure all parameters survive the redirect.
