How Juicy Handles Shipping Costs
How Juicy Handles Shipping Costs
Juicy clearly distinguishes between two different types of shipping costs.
1. Shipping paid by the customer
This is the shipping amount shown in the Shopify order and paid by the customer at checkout.
- If the customer pays for shipping, Juicy automatically imports this amount from Shopify
- If the customer has free shipping, the shipping amount is €0
- No manual setup is required in Juicy
👉 Any shipping amount paid by the customer is included in the order revenue (turnover) in Juicy, exactly as it appears in Shopify.
Juicy does not calculate or modify this value.
2. Actual shipping cost (what you pay the carrier)
This is the real cost you pay to your shipping carriers (for example DHL, UPS, etc.).
- These costs are not sent by Shopify
- Shopify does not know your carrier costs
- Therefore, they must be configured manually in Juicy
You can set these values in:
Settings → Shipping costs

Juicy allows you to define shipping costs:
- per country
- by weight
- by quantity
This makes it possible to model different carrier prices depending on destination and order size.
