Hide a Payment Method in Specific Countries

Hide a payment method from checkout based on the customer's country.

1. Choose a template

From the dashboard, click Start from a template.

Select Hide a payment method in specific countries.

Choose the countries where you want the rule to apply, then enter or select the payment method you want to hide.

Click Use template.

2. Review the rule

Juicy automatically creates the country condition and hide action based on your selections.

Example

In this example, Shop Pay will be hidden for customers in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

3. Activate and save

Change Status from Inactive to Active, then click Save.

You're all set

The payment method will now be hidden for customers in the selected countries.

Best practice

When entering a payment method manually, use Contains and enter the shortest unique part of the payment method name.

This helps match payment methods even when their full names contain additional words.

Important

• Credit Card customization requires Shopify Plus for stores in the United States and Canada. Stores in other countries can customize it on any Shopify plan.
• Customizations do not affect express checkout buttons inside carts.
